We spent 15 days in the Lempira area of Hondura a few years ago and it stole our hearts. El Corazón means "heart". We saw the farmers. We saw the fields. We saw the children. We loved that place! This specific coffee, grown by Jorge Serrano, is from the Comayagua Department and we refer to this as our "house coffee". If you like a great Central American coffee, this is for you. Medium body and nutty tones.

I've been ordering coffee from Queen Bee for quite some time now. I love the taste of their blends and special seasonal coffees (bourbon) too! I love the projects Queen Bee sponsors and I feel like I am helping with every cup of coffee I make. Every item is always packed with care. It's lovely to receive a personal note in my delivered box too! Some day I will manage to visit the shop and say "hey you all!"

I have been purchasing El Corazon for a few years and have found it to be the best medium roast, smooth flavored coffee ever! When our adult children, in-laws or friends come over and I have coffee made, their first question is "Is that the Queen Bee coffee?" I make my coffee using a French Press for reference. I would highly recommend this roast to anyone looking for a smooth, medium roast!! Absolutely LOVE IT!
