If you like a straightforward Central American coffee with a little darker roast, this is for you. This is the same bean as the El Corazon -just roasted darker- hence the name, Dark Heart.
(From Cruz Alta, Lempira, Honduras - We spent 15 days in this area a few years ago and it stole our heart - El Corazón means "heart". We saw the farmers. We saw the fields. We saw the children. We loved that place!)
This coffee is a slightly different take on our "house coffee". If you like a straightforward Central American coffee with a little darker roast, this is for you. Medium body, nutty tones and a slight bit heavier finish.
- Origin: Honduras
- Processing: Wet processed
- Variety: Caturra, Catuai, Lempira, Bourbon
- Elevation: 1200-1700 m
- Roast Level 1 to 10 (light to dark): 9
I like all of Queen Bees coffee but this is my favorite because of the deep flavor without any bitterness. Dark roasts are always best.
